NPQ Funding

The DfE have now confirmed funding for NPQ Cohort 9, which will begin in November 2025. This will be the only Cohort next academic year (there will be no Spring Cohort in 2026).

The Details

These courses are fully funded for teachers and leaders working in any of the following settings:

  • State-funded schools (including maintained nurseries)

  • 16–19 education institutions

Courses available:

  • NPQ Headship

  • NPQ SENCO

Scholarship funding to cover the full cost of any NPQ course may be available to teachers and leaders working in:

  • The 50% of schools with the highest proportion of pupils eligible for pupil premium (based on the PP50 list)

  • 16–19 educational settings identified as having high levels of disadvantage

In addition, teachers and leaders in schools on the RISE targeted intervention list will be eligible for a fully funded place on any NPQ.

There are limited funded places available, so even if your school meets the criteria, a funded place cannot be guaranteed.

Non Funded Costs

If your school is not eligible for funding, or we do not have a funded place available, you can still complete your NPQ with us this year- but your school will need to fund your place.

Course costs are the same, irrespective of the size of your school or school type.

This is a complete cost, so there are no additional fees to pay.  Please note however VAT is not included in above courses and will be added to all invoices.

The course cost also includes your final assessment (up to two attempts).

Course fees are payable as a single payment, and payment is required before the programme commences, which is November 2025

Applications

Applications will be opening soon - In the meantime, please spread the word about our Early Bird Form to your colleagues who may be interested in joining the next NPQ cohort.
