Reception teaching
Our new, 20-hour Excellence in Reception Teaching course is designed to give existing Reception teachers the skills, confidence, and network to drive positive change for all children. Driven by the latest research and best practice, you’ll explore the latest thinking and practical strategies for transitions, working with families and inclusive practice.
NPQ funding for Cohort 10
The following courses are fully funded for all schools this year: NPQH, NPQSL, NPQ SENCO, and Early Headship Coaching Offer.
All other courses are fully funded for those in PP50 eligible schools. For more information on course funding, click the link below.

Specialist NPQs
We offer 4 specialist NPQs:
NPQLT (Leading Teaching)
NPQLBC (Leading Behaviour and Culture)
NPQLTD (Leading Teacher Development)
NPQLPM (Leading Primary Mathematics)
All our specialist NPQs are 12 months long, include online study that you can access flexibly, and provide coaching to help you to develop your leadership and broaden your whole school impact.
Leadership NPQs
We offer 4 leadership NPQs:
NPQSENCO (Statutory qualification for SENCOs)
NPQSL (Senior Leadership)
NPQH (Headship)
NPQEL (Executive Leadership)
All our leadership NPQs are 18 months long, include online study that you can access flexibly, and provide coaching to help you to develop yourself as a senior leader and broaden your whole school impact.
EHCO
The Early Headship Coaching Offer is a yearlong programme of support, tailored for the needs of headteachers in their first five years of headship. The programme is unassessed and provides bespoke support and networking drawing on the best evidence available about what makes an effective headteacher.
NPQ Flex
We have a network of local schools, universities, Dioceses and trusts that will deliver face-to-face sessions in a venue in your region. This has the added benefit of allowing you to network and collaborate with peers from your local area who understand your context. Whilst some locations are still to be confirmed, you can expect courses in different locations across a number of regions.
